Really nice place, this was our second time stopping, we stayed last New Years Eve as well as this New Years Eve. To be able to use the swimming pool is really good although it is freezing. The sauna is good to use. The personal hot tub is quite big although the water does always run low on it as the same happened last New Years Eve and there's no hose to top it up. All the rooms are nice, could do with TV's in the other 2 rooms. If taking dogs be aware that the grass is really really muddy on the back garden, I was forever cleaning mud up even after wiping the paws of the dogs before they came in. On this occasion they charged us another £50 for cleaning even though there's no escaping mud because of the condition of the garden, you are cleaning it up constantly. It really needs paving or gravel on there with accepting dogs. We specifically went for New Years Eve but had a power cut at 11pm. There were no candles left so we were in pitch dark and we didn't know how long it would stay off for. It came back on around 12:30am. Again power cuts can't be helped but if someone had come round with candles or let us know how long the power was going to be off for, it would have been helpful. The window at the top of the back door was a bit dangerous. We were all sat watching a film and the wind blew it in and it dropped, again this could have been a serious accident had the window smashed or fallen off onto a child or dog. Luckily it didn't but it really needs sorting. Overall a nice lodge but needs improvements for what they charge. Thanks

Excellent accommodation for our hen party. Was very clean had everything we needed from plastic glasses to use in the hot tub to slippers to use in the spa (which was literally steps away). Rural, peaceful location with Excellent views. Nearest shop was quite a trek though when we ran out of milk but I would definitely return to Swallows Orchard.

Fantastic accommodation. Great facilities. Spa on door step. Would definitely recommend.
