Absolutely lovely place to stay! A great location for all the tourist attractions in Somerset and all the walking you could wish for. Superhost Sarah has got it all covered and thought of everything you could possibly need. Loved our short but sweet stay!! Thanks, Jon of Oven Legends

This was our second visit to Rose cottage as a family of 4. We previously stayed for a few nights in April and loved it so much we booked for a week in May half term. I cannot recommend this cottage enough. It’s so beautifully clean and new inside. The host Sarah has thought of everything, lots of beautiful little homely touches and the quality of the bed linen and towels are of lovely luxury quality, which you don’t often find so it’s like a mini home away from home. The pictures don’t do this cottage justice, until you arrive and see how spotlessly clean and perfect everything is. The views at the cottage are absolutely beautiful, so lovely to sit outside and have a drink and not hear a thing.. The cottage is also situated in the perfect spot for lovely country walks and there is a gorgeous pub in walking distance called ‘The Lion’ which does amazing food. We found that we were also in the perfect spot for travailing to a lot of tourist spots like wookey Hole, cheddar gorge, Bath and Bristol. I can honestly say we have had more fun in a week staying at this cottage and exploring Somerset than some of our really expensive 5 star hotel stays abroad. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Celebrated my birthday with three friends at Rose Cottage - perfect relaxing space, great location. We shopped at Clarks Village, walked around Glastonbury Abbey, Wells Village, up Glastonbury Tor. Dined at The Lion (15 min walk from Cottage), following night had a delicious Chinese takeaway, chilled out in the jacuzzi. We all slept well as very quiet location, but enjoyed many walks in the local area. Highly recommend to all, and we definitely will be returning.

Spent a relaxing weekend at Rose Cottage. A beautiful well appointed cottage with a fabulous outlook. Rural but not remote and a short stroll to a wonderful pub with great food. Rose Cottage lacked nothing. Supplies left by host were fabulous and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was great too. Can't say more than it was 'spot on' and we look forward to returning.

Just spent a wonderful week at Rose Cottage whilst travelling in daily for Glastonbury Festival. Sarah was so welcoming and accommodating. Was so very helpful and responsive to our questions prior to our stay. On arrival we had a generous welcome basket of goodies. The cottage was spotless and perfect for a peaceful stay with stunning views. Lovely outdoor space also where we enjoyed meals in the sun. We found different hilly and quiet walks in to the festival and also used the shuttle bus to and from the festival to the village which was an easier option. The hot tub was a delight in the mornings before the festival day ahead. Fellow guests had a great meal at the local pub The Lion also. Highly recommend Sarah's cottage and would love to return.

What a fabulous cottage, beautifully decorated with amazing views! Sarah, the host, is lovely and very accommodating. We had a wonderful welcome basket on arrival and some breakfast options in the fridge. Not to forget the chilled bubbly 👍. The location is great, with easy access and great parking, superb views, and just enough space for everything. Loved the fact that the kitchen was really well equipped, the bedrooms are so spacious and the bathrooms are lovely too. Having a laundry room as well really helped as we stayed for 6 nights. Super close to the popular local pub “The Lion West Pennard” (you can walk there if you really wanted to; we didn’t so it’s a 3min drive). We are already booked again for June and might just pop in one more time inbetween! Thank you Sarah! Highly recommend it!

Our second stay at Rose Cottage; just as perfect as last time. Beautifully clean, comfortable, well equipped and fresh in every way. Peacefully located; evening drinks on the patio overlooking waving corn fields and a scattering of cows in the distance, hills behind. And if you like a hot tub, there’s now one of those too! Not forgetting views of Glastonbury Tor; looking quite beautiful at sunset. The Lion pub is in the village, an easy stroll. Thank you Sarah, we’ll be back.

Rose Cottage - WOW! Just had a three night stay and cannot rate it enough for both location and cleanliness. It is so quiet, with only the odd vehicle passing down the lane during the day, whilst in the evenings it is utter calm and the views over the valley and Glastonbury Tor are fantastic! Inside the cottage everything is like new and you want for nothing, plus the place is spotlessly clean and hygienic. Outside the gardens, shed (including several bikes, helmets and sun loungers) patio and driveway are all immaculately tended and cared for, plus to add to your enjoyment there is of course the hot tub! If you are visiting North Somerset please consider staying here as you will not find anywhere better - FACT!!!

Have just spent a wonderful weekend in Rose Cottage. It was the perfect base from which to explore Somerset. Aside from the stunning open views across the countryside, the accommodation is well-proportioned, very comfortably furnished, spotlessly clean, and beautifully quiet. It suited us perfectly as a family of 4, but would also work well for 2 couples as both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. There is ample private parking and outside space, including a shed for bikes, an enclosed rear garden area, and even built-in stair gates. Sarah and Roy are really lovely hosts, who struck the balance perfectly between leaving us to enjoy our stay and being on hand if we needed anything.

Rose Cottage is a beautiful, immaculately clean cottage in a quiet village. Not only does it boast spectacular views but is also within walking distance of the the nearby pub, The Lion, which serves great food. The cottage is fitted out with everything you could possibly need to make your stay feel like home from home, including a great welcome basket of goodies which is certainly a nice touch. Sarah is an exceptional host, very welcoming and nothing is too much to ask of her, she is simply amazing. Can't recommend enough!
